You can now expand the journal to fill the entire window. Just click the expand button in the popout menu to expand the panel (and press is again to go back again).
When in full-screen mode, you can filter journal entries by date as well as text (text search is also available out of full-screen mode) to help you find entries from a particular time.
Also, when in full-screen mode, you can see the entry timestamp in line (as well as on hover) to make it easier to see at a glance when entries were made.
By default, the date format is in ‘relative’ time mode which follows these rules
- Within 24 hours, it will show the exact time the entry was posted e.g.
10:51:54
- Over 24 hours, within 7 days will show how many days ago the entry was posted e.g.
- Over 7 days will show how many weeks ago the entry was posted e.g.
5 weeks
Clicking the timestamp will switch the displayed time from relative time mode to ‘absolute’ time mode which will give the exact timestamp for each entry.
The normal journal functionality is still available in full-screen mode, you can still add, edit, delete, reset timestamp and drag/drop.
